Unique Course on Building a Fault-Tolerant Infrastructure for Termidesk Virtual Workplaces Has Been Launched

The training center "Stars and S" and company "Uveon — Cloud Technologies" (part of the Astra Group) have launched a joint course "TDHA: Deployment and Advanced Management of the Highly Available Termidesk infrastructure".

The program includes a comprehensive study of fault-tolerant configurations, deployment of virtualization management clusters, publication of virtual workstations, and scaling of the Termidesk architecture. It is based on practical knowledge and experience in implementing similar solutions on Citrix and Microsoft platforms. All materials have been tested and approved by the team of developers and engineers involved in the development and implementation of the Termidesk VDI solution.

Personal laboratory stands with dedicated resources are provided for participants: 16 CPUs, 96 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD disk space. The course is recommended for system administrators, virtualization engineers, and DevOps specialists who are planning or already deploying Termidesk in a fault-tolerant configuration.

To complete the training successfully, you need basic knowledge of Astra Linux or similar distributions, experience in working with KVM, Hyper-V or VMware virtualization platforms, as well as understanding of the basics of network technologies, including DNS, DHCP and NTP.

"Together with the training center "Stars and S", we have created a program that addresses a key market need — training of highly qualified specialists in deploying and managing a fault-tolerant virtual workplace infrastructure. Each module of the course has been tested thoroughly by our developers and engineers, which ensures that the content meets the real challenges that companies face by implementing Termidesk," comments Sergey Khalapin, Director of New Markets Development and Technology Partners at Uveon - Cloud Technologies.
