zVirt and Termidesk compatibility

The compatibility testing package of the Termidesk virtual Workplace connection manager with the zVirt virtualization system versions 4.3 and 4.4 has been completed. Both software stacks are working correctly, and with their help, customers— the public sector and private businesses— can build server systems. infrastructure for the organization of virtual workplaces for employees. This will ensure the continuity of processes in any conditions, including situations where it is necessary to switch to "remote".

Uveon— Cloud Technologies LLC, developer of the Termidesk virtual workplace connection manager, and Infoland, a company specializing in creating enterprise software solutions and providing IT services, have successfully completed two-way compatibility tests for Termidesk andzVirt virtualization system is the current version 4.3, and 4.4 is also being prepared for release.

Termideskis a modern multi-platform tool for creating a virtual workplace infrastructure with the ability to securely work remotely from any device from anywhere in the world. The solution can be integrated into the cloud as a service or installed in the organization's local infrastructure, built using both domestic and foreign technologies. Termidesk is included in "The Unified Register of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases" Ministry of Digital Economy No. 5317.

ZVirt is a comprehensive software solution for secure virtualization environment management. The Russian-language web interface makes it possible to manage virtualization servers, storages, clusters, virtual machines and other objects from a single console. The product is registered in the registry of the Ministry of Digital Economy under the number 4984.

The software stacks were tested by specialists from both vendors on a test stand deployed for this purpose. The complex of checks included the installation of the product, the deployment of virtual workplace infrastructure using guest machines running Windows and Linux-like operating systems, including Astra Linux, as well as testing all the functionality that Russian organizations use for daily office work. The test results confirmed that the zVirt virtualization platform of both versions is fully compatible with the Termidesk software, and software stacks can be used without restrictions. The installation, configuration, and launch of virtual workstations, as well as work with documents and other office tasks, occur normally.

"The test drive of Termidesk and ZVirt has shown full compatibility of domestic solutions providing unlimited mobility. The integration will expand the possibilities of creating a secure and virtual workplace infrastructure and will allow you to quickly modify and clone virtual desktops, make backups and provide secure remote access to them. When working remotely, data is centrally stored on a virtualization server, a secure local or cloud resource. ZVirt includes all the necessary functionality for efficient server and virtual machine management and is not inferior to the solutions of leading international companies," says Mikhail Orlovsky, Head of ProductsInfoland.

"The software stack, which includes Termidesk and zVirt software, allows for high-quality and fast implementation of the main business objective — to provide staff with the ability to work with a cloud PC from anywhere in the world.use any device and implement an office work scenario. Together with our colleagues from Infoland, we will continue to develop an ecosystem of market-demanded compatible IT solutions, and we are going to hold a webinar for partners dedicated to Termidesk and zVirt. Moreover, this year we plan to bring functionality to the market that will allow us to work comfortably and efficiently with "heavy" graphics for 3D modeling," comments Denis Mukhin, Director ofBusiness Development, Uveon LLC.
