Remote access under control: Indeed MFA compatible with Termidesk solutions

Indid, a Russian developer of identity protection solutions, and Astra Group, a leading manufacturer of infrastructure software and information security tools, have confirmed the compatibility of the Indeed MFA cloud multi-factor authentication service with the Termidesk VDI solution for secure access to virtual desktops.

In hybrid and remote work environments, the user account becomes one of the key entry points to corporate resources. If a user's password is compromised, an attacker may attempt to connect to a desktop, application, or user session on behalf of a legitimate employee.

The integration of the Indeed MFA cloud service with the Termidesk VDI solution helps strengthen the protection of such connections without complicating the familiar user scenario. Employees gain access to corporate systems, documents, and applications through Termidesk VDI virtual desktops, while Indeed MFA adds an additional layer of security to this scenario. Even if a password falls into the hands of an attacker, a second authentication step will be required to log in. The organization retains centralized access control and can apply a unified approach to protecting user connections.

Termidesk is a cross-platform solution for creating virtual desktops and providing secure access to corporate data and applications. The product supports VDI, terminal access, remote connectivity to physical PCs, and application delivery.

The Indeed MFA cloud service provides centralized authentication and access control management. Multiple factors are used for login: first, the user enters a domain password, then confirms their identity with a one-time code via email, Telegram, SMS, or TOTP, or via a push notification through the Indeed Key mobile app or Telegram.

The service is provided under a subscription model, helping companies reduce IT infrastructure costs and scale resources faster as needed.
