Terminal Termidesk is a new product for creating terminal services based on Astra Linux and Windows

Due to this functionality, Terminal Termidesk allows you to build hybrid remote access to workplaces or applications without changing the business processes of companies and within the framework of the single window concept.

Thus, there are currently two products in the developer's portfolio: Termidesk VDI and Termidesk Connect. At the same time, Termidesk VDI is designed to create a VDI infrastructure and includes all the features of the new product for implementation terminal access. The main differences between Termidesk VDI are:

• automation of deployment of terminal farms based on Windows and STAL on virtualization platforms, for example, PCs SV Brest, VMmanager, zVirt, etc.;
the ability to create a VDI infrastructure in which each user's desktop is configured on their own dedicated virtual machine with their own OS and set of applications.

One of the key areas of the company's work is to provide the market with the best solution in the field of virtualization of workstations and applications. Termidesk Terminal is a logical continuation of one of the stages of the vendor's portfolio development. This product is ideal for those customers who have used Microsoft terminal services and are looking for analogues for the Linux stack. At the same time, Termidesk VDI is a full–fledged replacement for VDI from Citrix and VMware Horizon.

The Termidesk Terminal has:

• new connection client for working with SPICE and RDP protocols;
• Health Check monitoring templates based on the new task scheduler;
• BPM power management functionality for various virtualization platforms.

Along with the launch of the new product, the developers have added new features that customers need to Termidesk VDI. The SSO mechanism has appeared in the Astra Linux OS based on the SPICE protocol, and reports can now be created in the interface itself. It is worth noting a significant improvement in working with the VMware virtualization platform: support for VMware version 7.x and an additional mechanism for working with storage without using DRS and with Full Clone technology have been implemented.
