Termidesk: the beginning

Aerodisk and Uveon Cloud Technologies have developed a solution for remote workplace management

Aerodisk, a developer of solutions in the field of data storage and virtualization, and Uveon— Cloud Technologies presented a joint solution for organizing remote workplaces for employees. It is based on the scalable and fault-tolerant integration of the Aerodisk vAIR hyperconverged system and the Thermidesk virtual workplace connection manager . Aerodisk vAIR is a hyperconverged computing system that combines a scalable storage system, a data storage network, as well as an integrated or third—party virtualization system. The solution is suitable for deploying Virtual Workplace Infrastructure (VDI).

The Thermidesk Virtual Workplace Connection Manager, developed by Uveon— Cloud Technologies, provides virtual infrastructure with hypervisors and guest operating systems. The solution allows you to manage virtual machines on a hypervisor; create static, individual, and group virtual workplace funds, and also provide access via a web browser or a specialized client with support for a range of delivery protocols and authentication, identification, and access rights differentiation methods. The Thermidesk complex is included in the unified register of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases.

"Together with Uveon— Cloud Technologies, we have developed a fully domestic workplace management solution that is suitable for all organizations, including state-owned companies. It can compete with its foreign counterparts: now Russian companies can quickly and economically switch to domestic technologies with extensive virtual infrastructure functionality,— commentedVyacheslav Volodkovich, CEO of Aerodisk. —At the moment, we are installing and testing the new solution in the customer company: 600 employees have the opportunity to work from different cities, connecting within the same data center."

"Aerodisk is a leader in the domestic Enterprise storage segment, demonstrating the best performance and fault tolerance for IT infrastructure. High level of competence and commitment to consistent policy implementationimport substitution— these are the main reasons whywhich we decided to cooperate with. In the future, we plan to jointly implement a remote workplace infrastructure using storage on domestic Elbrus processors," said Sergey Tulinov, CEO of Uveon— Cloud Technologies.
