Termidesk is a unified multiplatform solution designed for infrastructure deployment Virtual Workstations (VDI) and their full lifecycle management. The system can interact with the virtualization platform through the API, create virtual workstations, move them, provide them to users according to certain rules, policies, and delivery protocols, as well as monitor their status. The product developer, Uveon – Cloud Technologies, develops it within the framework of the Astra Linux OS ecosystem. Previously, Termidesk, in addition to the standard version, received the protected Termidesk for Astra, and after the release of version 4.0, a single edition became available. In this article, together with the experts of the Astra Group of Companies, we examine in detail the functionality, architecture and principles of operation of the solution.
