New Level of Virtual Desktop Security: Termidesk 6.0 Supports Two-Factor Authentication with Rutoken

Uveon — Cloud Technologies (part of theAstra Group) and "Aktiv" announce the completion of joint testing and the signing of a certificate confirming the full compatibility of the Termidesk 6.0 VDI solution with the key devices of the Rutoken EDS 3.0 line.

Termidesk is a multiplatform solution for creating a virtual workplace infrastructure and organizing secure remote work for employees. It supports a wide range of Russian and imported, including Open Source, platforms, systems, and VDI workplace virtualization tools. Termidesk is included in the "Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases" of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia.

Rutoken EDS 3.0 is modern USB tokens and smart cards for two-factor authentication (possession factor plus PIN-code knowledge factor) and secure work with electronic signatures on personal computers, mobile devices and in virtual environments. The devices support domestic and international cryptography standards and are certified by FSB and FSTEC of Russia.

Proven compatibility allows customers to easily implement multi-factor authentication based on USB tokens and Rutoken smart cards for secure remote access to Termidesk virtual desktops. This provides employees with a secure connection to corporate resources from anywhere in the world.
