New VDI infrastructure features in Termidesk 3.3
Uveon — Cloud Technologies, a member of the Astra Group of Companies, has announced the release of a new version of the Termidesk 3.3 software, a software package for creating virtual workplace infrastructure and organization of secure remote work of employees. The solution is compatible with x86, MIPS, and ARM hardware architectures, including Baikal-M. It is suitable for a variety of Linux and Windows-based virtualization platforms and allows you to manage the lifecycle of virtual machines, including providing them to users according to various rules, policies, and delivery protocols. The Termidesk development center and repository are located in Russia, the product is listed in the "Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases" of the Ministry of Digital Economy.
The new product release has significantly expanded the functionality. Since Termidesk is often used in conjunction with the Brest Virtualization Tools software package, the developers have increased the degree of compatibility of solutions and refined the plug-in from this vendor. In addition, it is now possible to create full copies (full clone) of parent virtual machines in the SV Brest PC, regardless of the type of storage.
In order for system administrators to easily and quickly undo changes made to the workplace fund, a new type of publication has been added that supports creating an image from a snapshot.
