New Version of Termidesk 4.3.1 Manages Virtualization Faster and More Efficiently

Uveon – Cloud Technologies (part of The Astra Group) has released a new version of the software package Termidesk 4.3.1. The multiplatform solution is designed to form an infrastructure Virtual Workstations (VDI) and organization of secure remote work of employees from any stationary and mobile devices connected to the Internet. Thanks to new improvements, it has become easier and faster to manage virtualization tools.

Among the new features of the software package, it is worth noting such mechanisms and tools as the Foundation Publishing Wizard and the web interface for Virtual Appliance, which allow you to speed up the processes of deployment, configuration and further work with the system. A new Healthcheck mechanism has been added to the Connection Gateway component, which can be used to monitor the status of the new gateway implementation through third-party systems. 

The new version of Termidesk 4.3.1. also provides an automatic screen scaling using the RDP protocol in the Termidesk viewer desktop viewer. Added functionality that prohibits the user from saving a password in the server connection settings. Additional security mechanisms have been implemented and the functionality of various system components has been improved, such as the connection manager, STAL, connection client, and Termidesk Viewer desktop viewer (terminal access to desktops), agents, remote assistant, and others. In addition to these improvements, the developers have fixed a number of minor bugs related to SSO and Microsoft infrastructure.

Termidesk is popular among Russian organizations of various scales as a convenient and practical tool for building remote work of personnel using various remote access protocols. The product is especially popular with customers who previously used Microsoft RDS and now use the Russian equivalent, which works optimally under OS of the Linux family.
