K2Tech and Uveon – Cloud Technologies expand cooperation in virtual desktops and secure access

IT company with comprehensive expertise K2Tech and Russian developer of unified workstation virtualization solutions Uveon – Cloud Technologies (part of Astra Group) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The document formalizes the parties' intention to expand joint efforts in projects for building virtual desktop infrastructure and secure access for large Russian companies based on Termidesk VDI and Termidesk Connect solutions.

K2Tech and Uveon – Cloud Technologies have a successful track record of joint projects in organizing virtual desktops and remote access with enhanced security and availability requirements. Today, Russian companies are in the process of a mass transition from foreign VDI platforms and access controllers to domestic solutions. Products in this class are expected to deliver high fault tolerance, scalability, built-in security mechanisms, and ease of operation. Against this backdrop, constructive dialogue between the vendor and integrator helps reduce risks and ensure more predictable outcomes in terms of timelines, cost, and quality.

As part of the cooperation, K2Tech and Uveon – Cloud Technologies plan to increase the number of joint projects and scale the deployment of Termidesk VDI and Termidesk Connect in large infrastructures. The parties intend to develop product functionality based on the needs of enterprise customers, as well as deepen their technology partnership through the exchange of expertise and the development of new use cases.
