Media about us: a single version of the distribution, a new level of security and comfort with Termidesk 4.0

CNews journalists, the largest high–tech publication in Russia and the CIS, were among the first to learn about the release of a new version of the software package for creation and administration Virtual Workplace Infrastructures (VDI) Termidesk 4.0.

Using Termidesk, you can easily and quickly deploy a fully functional VDI infrastructure and thus build secure remote work for staff from any device. Previously, customers had to choose between standard or secure solutions, but now a single version is available, which already includes support for PC virtualization systems SV Brest, VMmanager, zVirt, Aerodisk, VMware, oVirt and OpenStack, directory services MS AD, ALD Pro, FreeIPA and OpenLDAP, as well as the Russian operating systemAstra Linux and other popular operating systems.

Along with the creation of a single distribution package, which has all the functionality of the previous versions of Termidesk and Termidesk for Astra, and the local database is no longer used for authentication, the developers added features to the product for delivering Windows applications so that Linux-like OSS can be successfully opened and use software originally designed for Windows.
